This is our President Seymour. Seymour is a Mitred Conure and is our feature article right now on our homepage. From somewhat unfair beginnings, Seymour climbed the ladder of success by winning the heart of her human companion, Juliette Veenstra. Seymour was Juliette's inspiration to work with parrot rescue groups and later, to start Birdmart.Com. She has been the tester of many foods, toys and behavioral ideas, and is quite valuable in keeping the Birdmart.Com in order!

This handsome fellow is Stanley. Stan is an Orange-Winged Amazon Parrot. He is the Vice-President in charge of edutainment at Birdmart.Com. Stanley began his life in the wild, but was later captured to become an "anniversary gift." Unfortunately, the receiver was not fond of her feathered gift. Through a veterinarian who loved and kept Stanley for many years, he fell into the hands of Juliette and Seymour. His comical nature is the inspiration for the interactive section of Birdmart.Com.

This pint-sized heavyweight is Marley. Marley is a Peach-Fronted Conure who started life in an aviary, later to end up at a bird store. There, he learned to turn on the charm to get attention, which is how he "talked" Juliette in to taking him home. Marley adapted easily to the homebound lifestyle, especially the abundance of different foods! Yes, Marley loves his chow-time, so he easily became elected Vice-President in charge of foods and nutrition.
